Before you set off
A summary of the lending regulations and the terms of use, which you sign together with the contract. Both documents are available for download in full below.
Where cycling is permitted
On public roads and signposted cycle paths. These bikes are not designed for off-road use.
Where will you end up?
The terms of use specify a range of 60 to 120 km. This is affected by the weight of the rider and any load, the terrain, the weather, the technical condition of the bike and riding style — a smooth ride and a steady pedalling rhythm will provide the longest range. The figures ‘up to 150’ and ‘up to 160 km’ for the models are catalogue figures.
Load capacity
The maximum permitted load capacity of the wheel is 120 kg.
Locking
We provide the lock free of charge, and it must be used to lock the bike to a fixed object or a bike rack. Between 8.00 pm and 8.00 am, the bike must be parked in a locked area.
Returns and Cleaning
The bike is returned clean. The bag provided contains wet wipes and a microfibre cloth, and you can also have it cleaned at the hire shop. A dirty bike costs 150 Kč.
Charging
Only use the charger supplied with the bike. The hire company accepts no liability for damage caused by any other charger.
What to bring with you when collecting your order
Two forms of identification
An identity card (or, for foreign nationals, proof of permanent residence in the Czech Republic), a passport or a driving licence issued in the EU — any two of these will suffice.
A refundable deposit of 2,000 Kč per bike
Payment is made on the spot; card payments are also accepted. The deposit is refunded when you return the bike.
Aged 18 and over
The contract must be signed by a person aged 18 or over, and the bicycle may only be used by the person named in the contract. The hire is for non-commercial purposes.
